The one rule: Snap a single photo every day and share it here. The one caveat: I wont post a photo every day, but will do so in 5-7 day chunks. Just know, I am taking a photo every day.

59..April 28th

Camera Commentary: The local movie theater has a deserted kiosk that is kind of eerie... We saw The 5-Year Engagement which was locally shot and set mostly in Ann Arbor! It was cute, funny, and romantic- oh, and Jason Segel was in it.

58..April 27th

Camera Commentary: Happy Arbor Day! We held a fundraiser at a local brew pub for the Adopt-A-Park program. $1 from each Spruce Beer is donated to the program to plant more trees and keep the parks beautiful.

57..April 26th

Camera Commentary: The one plus about construction on every major road in Ann Arbor- getting to detour my usual route past some interesting places. This photo is of the outside of a historical cemetery.

56..April 25th

Camera Commentary: I spent the morning working with 76 students from Community High School all pulling garlic mustard and dames rocket. For the whole day, we had 350+ students out at various City parks. In the end, we all pulled 3.96 TONS of garlic mustard!

55..April 24th

Camera Commentary: After work I did a site visit for my workday coming up at Argo Nature Area. This road back to the car somehow makes me feel like I'm down south again.

54..April 23rd

Camera Commentary: Sometimes you just have to take a round about way home and clear your mind. Stuck the camera out the window and this is what I captured.

53..April 22nd

Camera Commentary: Happy Earth Day! I spent the day working the Ann Arbor Earth Day Festival for NAP. Lots of families and citizens learned about nature and the environment.

52..April 21st

Camera Commentary: Weekends are a welcome break and even more sweet when they involve home cooked pancakes!

51..April 20th

Camera Commentary: I got these adorable salt and peppers shakers during our Europe backpacking trip in 2008. Every time I see them on our TV stand I feel the need to jump on a plane again and explore!

50..April 19th

Camera Commentary: The projects for our home seem to never end! I added these shelves and decor to a rather bare, large wall in our entry room.

49..April 18th

Camera Commentary: I was probably one of the few 8yr olds in love with sushi- and that love has yet to fade! A perfect mid-week day off from work deserves a supermarket sushi treat.

48..April 17th

Camera Commentary: Hi, my name is Christine and Im a flower/tree addict. Yes, I take too many pictures of things in bloom, but its spring and they are just too beautiful to resist.

47..April 16th

Camera Commentary: The first lilacs I saw bloom were where I work, so I couldnt resist cutting a bunch for my office desk.

46..April 15th

Camera Commentary: Its bottling day in our household. Give it a few more weeks and it will be ready to drink!

45..April 14th

Camera Commentary: After 3 months of constant development, NAP launched the Turtle Stewards program focused on conservation and monitoring of turtle species. It was a great turn-out and people seem to be pretty passionate about local turtles!

44..April 13th

Camera Commentary: Last summer I wanted to start a butterfly garden so I bought a tiny Milkweed plant for $5 at the Farmers Market. This year, its starting to peek its head out and appears to have multiplied!

43..April 12th

Camera Commentary: After not giving the fish tank the attention its needed, I took advance of the warm day and re-did the entire thing. Its sparkly clean and the 2 fish left seem content.

42..April 11th

Camera Commentary: Woke up to a light snow dusting on the roofs and cars. I shouldn't be surprised anymore when it snows in April, but since its been warm off and on since March I cant help but find it odd.

41..April 10th

Camera Commentary: Ive wanted a bird bath forever and since this little beauty was on sale for $10 I couldn't resist! Now the backyard birds wont have to use the jacuzzi run-off water to drink or bathe.

40..April 9th

Camera Commentary: I dont usually buy into this type of things, but after too much Easter indulgence I decided to give it a try. No crazy diet or cleanse here- just tea that makes your insides happy!

39..April 8th

Camera Commentary: Happy Easter! I started the day with an Easter egg hunt courtesy of my Love. We then spent the afternoon with friends, pets, delicious food, croquet, and beautiful weather.

38..April 7th

Camera Commentary: Strolling the Farmer's Market on a Saturday isn't complete without a walk down Kerrytown neighborhoods. The streets are lined with tulips and other spring pretties!

37..April 6th

Camera Commentary: Italian Easter Bread! Apparently the Midwest doesn't have a big Italian community, so I drove 30 minutes to go get this little beauty.

36..April 5th

Camera Commentary: For the past 2 years we have had two Robin families nesting somewhere around the exterior of the house. This year, it seems they have picked the sheltered gutter in our backyard.

35..April 4th

Camera Commentary: After a rushed day at work, its always an amazing comfort to come home to our beautiful backyard- especially on a cool spring evening.

34..April 3rd

Camera Commentary: Since the tulips hadn't officially bloomed in our front yard yet, Ricky decided to get me some to enjoy indoors.

33..April 2nd

Camera Commentary: Winding down controlled burn season with a late afternoon burn at Buhr Park. The sight of the smoke and late sunlight shadows was pretty dramatic.

32..April 1st

Camera Commentary: FestiFools is an amazing parade centered around beautiful life-size artistic "puppets." Its to honor April Fools Day and a weekend of foolery!

31..March 31st

Camera Commentary: Playing BrewMaster. After a trip to the HomeBrew store, we spent Saturday in brewing a batch of "Gooder than Guinness."
