The one rule: Snap a single photo every day and share it here. The one caveat: I wont post a photo every day, but will do so in 5-7 day chunks. Just know, I am taking a photo every day.

30..March 30th

Camera Commentary: Ann Arbor is the coolest city ever. This is the FoolMoon Luminary parade downtown. All the creative luminaries were made, and marched, by the locals!

29..March 29th

Camera Commentary: I finally had a chance to update and rearrange the family gallery wall. Now it just needs a fresh coat of paint!

28..March 28th

Camera Commentary: On the way to my Pilates Interval class, I couldnt help but notice the street lined with spring!

27..March 27th

Camera Commentary: To say we have a quirky dog is an understatement.

26..March 26th

Camera Commentary: Spring may have come early, but a killing frost is coming thru tonight that will probably wipe out these gorgeous blooms. A beautiful spring while it lasted!

25..March 25th

Camera Commentary: Molly dog is the energizer bunny when it comes to energy. Here she is scouting out the perimeter of the dog park just before she took off to run laps.

24..March 24th

Camera Commentary: Spring isn't my favorite season, but this adorable pastel egg wreath is quite whimsical & festive.

23..March 23rd

Camera Commentary: Last year I planted a Magnolia tree in our backyard in memory of my Dad. One year later, it has giant purple buds that are just about ready to bloom. Somehow, this small tree gives me the comfort I need.

22..March 22nd

Camera Commentary: Started some of our seedlings indoors last weekend. These are baby brussel sprouts! Should be ready for the outdoors by the beginning of May.

21..March 21st

Camera Commentary: As mentioned before, another early sign of spring. Last year, the Maples didn't pop until mid-April! Beautiful though.

20..March 20th

Camera Commentary: Happy 1st day of Spring! With temperatures in the 70s and 80s for the past few weeks, we've had an unusual early spring. Daffodils, tulips, and other flowering trees are already near complete!

19..March 19th

Camera Commentary: Record highs and unseasonably warm weather has put NAP's burn season in high gear! All my gear getting ready to go down the trail for the afternoon.

18..March 18th

Camera Commentary: Ricky decided he wanted to re-paint the walls with a shiny, new coat of paint. We chose the same color, but it looks so new and clean! Check out Molly being a creeper in the background.

17..March 17th

Camera Commentary: Ready for St. Patrick's Day with the Guinness shirt and green beads! Spent an adventurous evening in Downtown Detroit at Atwater Brewing Co, GreekTown, and devouring some pub food.

16..March 16th

Camera Commentary: The cut forced-bud Forsythia bloomed! Although its already begun budding and blooming outside (due to early Spring weather), this little indoor cutting makes me quite happy.

15..March 15th

Camera Commentary: Severe thunderstorms and tornadoes came thru SE MI. This was the sky after all the storms subsided and it started to become night. Although Ann Arbor was fortunate, Dexter, MI- a mere 10 miles away-had severe tornado devastation.

14..March 14th

Camera Commentary: Its controlled ecological burn season once again here in MI. This was our first burn of the season and a "demo" burn of a small parking lot prairie.

13..March 13th

Camera Commentary: This is the new head race/rapid feature at Argo Park. It gives the park a recreation feel and should generate lots of citizen interest. I cant wait to test it out this summer!

12..March 12th

Camera Commentary: Salamanders migrate in mass to ponds in the spring to breed- typically when conditions are wet, warm, and dark. A few of us braved the rain (and tornado watch) to go in search of these little guys. They were adorable and pretty amazing to watch "dance" in the pond.

11..March 11th

Camera Commentary: Bella does have a small harness that we "walk" her on to let her explore the backyard with. She loves burrowing in tall grass and boxes full of dirt.

10..March 10th

Camera Commentary: Working the weekends isn't so bad when you get to learn about slimy salamanders and terrific toads!

9..March 9th

Camera Commentary: Picked up this pitcher flower vase at the thrift store for $2.99. Originally an ugly green, I spray painted it silver to achieve this masterpiece for $6.00 total. I love being thrifty.

8..March 8th

Camera Commentary: On a gloomy and rainy weekday this little dancing dash board flower brings a little sunshine to the car and my day.

7..March 7th

Camera Commentary: I read somewhere that you can force Forsythia buds to bloom inside. I figured since Spring wasn't yet upon us it would be a good time to try. Stay tuned for [hopeful] yellow blooms!

6..March 6th

Camera Commentary: Ive learned that you can tell Spring is on its way in the North when the Crocuses start popping up. The little one on the right already has a small purple bud!

5..March 5th

Camera Commentary: Molly wanted to make sure we weren't planning on leaving again anytime soon.

4..March 4th

Camera Commentary: Driving back late at night after a whirl-wind 4 day trip to FL.

3..March 3rd

Camera Commentary: No trip to my brother's place [Old Town, FL] would be complete without some kind of country component. We brought home six baby chicks that he will raise into egg-producing adults. Adorable.

2..March 2nd

Camera Commentary: The sunny beach was a welcome feeling to my [now] pale skin and typically sock covered toes. Clearwater Beach.

1..March 1st

Camera Commentary: A trip to Tampa, FL wouldn't be complete without visiting our Alma Mater- USF. So much of the campus has changed, but it was refreshing to see the familiar Spanish moss covered trees.
